Karl graduated from Dewsbury College in Yorkshire in 2011 with his National Diploma in Social Care. He was awarded his Diploma in Cognitive Behavior Therapy in 2015, and in 2021 he was awarded his Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (Adults' Management) from Access Skills.
Karl has twenty years' experience supporting children, young people, and adults across a wide range of social care and educational settings. He has specialised in supporting the complex social, emotional, behavioral, and educational needs of young adults living with acquired and traumatic brain injuries (ABIs/TBIs) in the community. He is currently supporting adults living with ABIs/TBIs to regain their independence in their own communities.
Myles graduated from Buckinghamshire New University in 2014 with his BA in Sports and Media. He has developed a proven track record of building and sustaining positive working relationships with ABI/TBI clients requiring complex, 24-hour support. With ten years' experience in the sports and business sector, Myles has pro-actively engaged with some of the most abstracted young people in society, many of whom have previously struggled to complete their Further Education and have since become valued, productive members of society.
Myles was also awarded his Level 3 Certificate in Access to Education and Training in 2021. He is currently supporting us to recruit and to to train support workers with the knowledge, skills, and experience required to help our clients and their families to better manage the effects of brain injuries.
James graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2010 with his BSc in Psychology. He was awarded his Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in 2016, and his MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology in 2018. He is also a Team Leader/Field Supervisor supporting ABI/TBI clients to live more safely and independently in the community, and an Academic Mentor helping Higher Education students to overcome physically-, mentally-, and neurologically-disabling conditions.
James has twelve years’ experience providing evidence-based psychological assessments and support to young people and adults aged with complex developmental and mental health needs. He has also supported many young people and adults to transition from in-patient to community-based supported living. He is currently helping our service to develop through evidence-based, psychologically-informed support for our clients and staff.
Chloe has ten years' experience supporting young children, their parents, families, and friends in nursery and early learning settings. She brings extensive experience supporting children's education, emotional well-being, and social inclusion in their vital early years of life.
Chloe has also developed considerable experience networking with others within health and social care, understanding the delicate nature of the work we undertake with our clients and those involved in their rehabilitation. She supports us to promote and to develop our service, maintaining strong working relationships with our clients, their stakeholders, and our support workers who deliver this vital service. She is currently completing a distance learning course in Marketing Management as we continue to grow.
